Bring It On
My life basically runs around the pool. I have been competitvely swimming since i was seven years old. I go to school go to swimming come home eat,do my homework then go to bed. I never thought i could love a sport so much. When i swim i feel like i am expressing myself through a way in which only i can understand. When i claw through the water i am letting my anger out. When i gracefully swim warm up i usually think of things i am thankful for. Then there is race time. I take swimming very seriously, I give 100 percent or no percent. When i step up on that block to race i try to concentrate on the little things that can help me in the water. Sometimes i freak out because i feel like my dad's eyes are directly on me, and i can hear him saying"don't suck bryanna". I get scared and then don't swim well. This year i am really trying to eliminate my dad from my mind. I'm going to try and pretend like he is not even at the race. Swimming is a sport i love and happen to be very good at. I do not want to lose that compassion because i get nervous and, then do bad making me not want to swim again. Tonight is our opening night vs. Brick Memorial High School. I am going to go out there and do my best, swim my hardest and hope that i will accomplish what i want. Wish us luck=)
